Part of the 'Shaping Self' collection, the Self vessel stands uniquely in the collection as the piece which represents the totality of who we are: our known sense of self (the ego-consciousness), along with our shadows and cracks which lie beneath in our unconscious.
The Self vessel is made of stoneware clay, built with handmade coils, and decorated with porcelain slip applied by finger printing, oxides and transparent glaze.
